Who is MACHA?

MACHA is a NACHA Direct Member Regional Payments Association that serves financial institutions, businesses, and municipalities in the Mid-Atlantic Region.  We provide education, operational support, and advocacy to those participating in the payments industry - including the ACH, Check, Card payment networks.

MACHA President & CEO, Robert E. Dael is a participant in the Federal Reserve’s Faster Payments Task Force.  The Federal Reserve System’s Faster Payments Task Force will engage a diverse array of stakeholders in advancing the work outlined in Strategies for Improving the U.S. Payment System (PDF), published in January 2015.  The mission of the Faster Payments Task Force is to identify and evaluate alternative approaches for implementing safer and faster payments capabilities in the United States.
