NACHA Request for Comment/Request for Information on Compliance and Operations Topics

NACHA requests comments on five proposals to amend the NACHA Operating Rules on various Compliance and Operational topics.  This RFC addresses:

1.  Recrediting of Receiver - Removal of the Fifteen-Calendar-Day Notification Timeframe
2.  TEL Entries - Field Inclusion Requirement/Data Content for Payment Type Code Field
3.  Clarification of RDFI Warranties for Notifications of Change
4.  Valid Characters for ACH Records
5.  Disclosure Requirements for POS Entries

Additionally, NACHA requests information on the topic of ODFI Requests for Return for fraudulently-originated ACH credit Entries with the issuance of a Request for Information (RFI).

Cross-Channel Risk Certificate Program - NEW from MACHA


MACHA is pleased to announce an on-demand training opportunity - The Cross-Channel Risk Certificate Program.  This is an on-demand program and is designed for payments professionals who would benefit from an understanding of payment systems risk, fraud potential and governing rules and regulations.  The ten-module program examines inherent risks, investigates common areas of exposure, identifies compliance obligations and provides sound risk mitigation practices for the key payment networks - Check, Wire, ACH and Card.
