Becoming an AAP is essential for you, your staff and your organization.  Becoming an AAP will bring you recognition and respect for your expanded knowledge in the areas of managing ACH operations, understanding ACH rules and regulations, developing ACH products, selling ACH products and services, providing customer service for ACH applications, creating ACH marketing strategies, strategically planning ACH payments expansion, preparing for the increased use of the ACH Network for government vendor, benefit and tax payments.

The 2012 AAP test examination window will be Monday, October 8, 2012 through Saturday, October 27, 2012.  Registrations for the 2012 AAP Examination must be received by NACHA by September 12, 2012.  Late registrations (includes late fee) will be accepted from September 13, 2012 through September 21, 2012.

Begin Preparation for the 2012 Exam Now!
ACH professionals who are considering sitting for the exam are strongly encouraged to attend MACHA's face-to-face workshops and webinars.  An Educational Package Plan is a convenient and economical way to attend.  Additional training is available via NACHA teleseminars and conferences such as The Payments Institute.  With the wide range of topics covered, publications are offered as study aids.  MACHA members receive special pricing for NACHA publications, teleseminars, and conferences.

MACHA Offers Additional Preparation!
MACHA offers a series of evening study sessions and a two-part review session held during business hours for those who have registered for the AAP examination.  These sessions will focus on assisting individuals preparing for the AAP examination by providing a review of the ACH rules and regulations.  For those preparing to take the AAP Examination, these classes are intended to reinforce an individual's knowledge of the ACH Network.  In MACHA's opinion, these review sessions alone will not provide sufficient preparation for taking the exam.  Potential candidates should contact the MACHA office to discuss their level of experience and to determine further options such as reading material and additional training sessions.

MACHA's 2012 evening study sessions will be held on August 23rd and 30th, September 6th, and 13th in Columbia, Maryland from 6:30 p.m. - 9:00 p.m.  The two-part review sessions will be held on September 25th and October 2nd in Columbia, Maryland from 9:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.
